Coursework Master in Social Impact Assessment
Students are required to complete a course on the Social Impact Assessment process, including public participation; advanced social research (ASR); as well as a minor dissertation on an approved, relevant topic. Students also acquire SPSS skills and competencies.
Admission requirements: An Honours Degree in one of the following subjects: Sociology, Industrial Sociology, Geography, Philosophy, Historical Studies, Development Studies, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Politics, Public Governance, Social Work and Economics. If a student does not comply with the requirements mentioned above, admission may be granted by the Dean of the Faculty, at the recommendation of the Chairperson of the Department.
